Shady Putin rivals who “plot to bring down the despot” claim responsibility for the “assassination” of a Russian blogger in a coffee shop

RUSSIAN dissidents have claimed responsibility for the bombing that killed a Russian propagandist and have warned more are to come.
The underground anti-establishment group known as the National Republic Army (NRA) has allegedly claimed to be behind the attack on pro-Kremlin blogger Vladlen Tatarsky.

In a statement published on Russian social media app Telegram, the group claims to have organized and carried out the bombing that destroyed a cafe in central St. Petersburg.
They also praised assassin suspect Daria Trepova, 26, whom they call a “hero” for her role in the fight against Putin, and called on others to follow their “example”.
Gall dealer Tatarsky held a media event for 100 people on Sunday when a woman believed to be Trepova presented him with a golden TNT-laden figurine of herself.
Creepy footage captures the precise moment the Putin ally meets his end, as the hidden bomb explodes, killing him instantly and injuring 30 others.
Female suspect Trepova was quickly caught and later aggressively interrogated by Russians chained to a radiator after making a strange alleged confession.
On Tuesday, she was brought into court in a glass cage after being charged with terrorism. The 26-year-old faces up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.
However, the NRA has now reportedly declared its involvement “in the liquidation of Vladen Tatarsky.”
The shadowy group ranks as one of the most violent trying to bring down mad Vlad – but also the most mysterious.
Their manifesto is to destroy the tyrant and free Russia from his grip. It contains the definitive line: “Putin will be deposed and destroyed by us!”
Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the group has become known for a series of arson attacks and sabotage missions launched from its home country against the Russian military.
The NRA previously claimed to be behind the violent assassination of Darya Dugin – the Russian journalist and daughter of Putin’s “spiritual mastermind” Alexander Dugin – in August last year.
Their alleged new statement reads: “We, the St. Petersburg Column of the National Republican Army, declare:
“We organized and carried out an action on April 2, 2023 against a group of Z activists and personally against the well-known warmonger and war propagandist, war criminal Maxim Fomin, known as Vladlen Tatarsky.”
The group claims it received no outside aid and acted “autonomously,” contradicting shaky claims by Russian media that Ukraine was responsible for the bombing.
The group’s spokesman and prominent Russian exile, Ilya Ponomarev, also confirmed the NRA’s claims that they directed the operation.
“The partisans oppose the current political system in Russia and want it removed,” he told the Express.
“They cannot take part in the fighting militarily, but they hold the front line inside Russia.”
Ponomarev claims the partisans wanted to alert pro-Putin Kremlin elites that they were “not safe anymore.”
“The audience is the elite: ‘Careful, you’re no longer safe, Putin can’t protect you, we’re everywhere,'” he says.
The alleged statement continues with: “This action was carried out in a club owned by one of the most famous Russian gangsters and criminals, Yevgeny Prigozhin. As a result of the action, the club will cease its work. We are happy with that.”
“The action we carried out was not aimed at civilians and all victims are among the active supporters of the war, justifying the war crimes of the Putin regime in Ukraine.”
The statement then refers to Trepova as a “well-known figure of the left and feminist movement” and a “heroine”.
“At a time when many ‘oppositionists’ were posting on Facebook and shining flashlights, she fought, went to protests and risked her freedom by participating in all opposition movements, which she now opposes.”
The Russian partisan group is calling on human rights groups to help the suspect they see as a “hostage of the system”.
“We call on the people of Russia to follow our example and resist the criminal Russian regime until it is completely destroyed.
“Criminals will not feel safe on Russian soil!”
The declaration ends with “Russia will be free!”
Trepova will remain in Russian custody until June 2 while the trial is ongoing.
Russia’s investigative committee said it accused Trepova of “committing a terrorist attack by an organized group that caused premeditated death.”
Prosecutors claimed she acted on instructions from people working on behalf of Ukraine.
Trepova’s husband said he believes she was tricked into not knowing the statue contained explosives.
It has been claimed that Putin personally ordered Tatarsky’s assassination and will use it to crush his rivals.

Telegram channel General SVR – which claims to have been tipped off by a Kremlin insider – claimed the Russian tyrant was “pleased” with Tatarsky’s assassination and that the successful hit was reportedly being used to launch a new wave of attacks on to inflame his opponents.
