Send OCVarsity your game scores, player stats – Orange County Register

High school spring sports begin with the first games for some of the sports on Saturday February 11th.

Baseball, softball, and lacrosse for boys and girls can begin games on the day.

Boys’ tennis (Feb 13), boys’ volleyball (Feb 18), boys’ and girls’ track and field (Feb 18), boys’ and girls’ swimming (Feb 18), and boys’ golf (Feb 25) will start soon.

OCVarsity asks coaches, school administrators and team officials to ensure their statistics and game results are published by the registry.

We have a simple process for every Orange County team.

Here’s what you need to do:

A coach or team representative can email the information for varsity-level games and events to preps@ocregister.com.

The register publishes information that is received in a timely manner and in a usable format. (See below for details.)

The registry can no longer get results and statistics by phone call – only by email.

If you follow these steps, your team’s scores and player stats will be published online and will remain there throughout the season.

Submitting your team’s information to the registry:

1. the information must be sent on the same day as the event;

2. Submit the final result of the event;

3. Add stats or highlights for 2 players per team.

Example of statistics: Canyon: Josh Dodson 28 points; Eddie Anderson 12 points, 11 steals.

Example of highlights: Canyon: Josh Dodson makes a game-winning basket at buzzer. Eddie Anderson set a school record with 11 steals.

Please do not send pictures of result lists or the full results of a meeting or event.
