Semi rolls off I-69; traffic reversed

ALLEN COUNTY, Indiana (WANE) — A tractor-trailer crashed off Interstate 69 south of Fort Wayne Monday.

The crash occurred around 10:15 p.m. near the 300 mile mark, two miles south of the Jefferson Boulevard/US 24 freeway interchange.

Authorities told WANE 15 that a southbound semi-trailer truck went off the roadway and rolled into a ditch. The area is a construction zone.

The semi-truck was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crossing was restricted to one lane while crews worked to clear the semi truck from the ditch.

Traffic in the area flowed slowly. Motorists should be careful.
