Scottish law firm Gilson Gray finalizes latest takeover deal

Lesley McKnight, owner of The Law Practice, and her team will join Gilson Gray at his Blenheim Place offices to create a new real estate agency division to operate alongside the existing real estate services arm.

The law firm was incorporated in 2005 and Ms. McKnight assumed the position of Principal Counsel in 2018. Ms McKnight specializes in private client counseling and previously held positions at Ledingham Chalmers and Brodies.

The acquisition is the latest in a series of recent transactions in Scotland and England that have prompted Gilson Gray to rapidly expand into new regions and markets. The practice now has offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, East Lothian, Dundee and Lincoln.
