Scottish Borders: Body found in woods in search of missing man
The body of a man was found in a wooded area near Newton St Boswells around 12.30pm on Sunday.
A formal identification has yet to be made, but James Cockburn’s family have been informed.
The 86-year-old was reported missing in Town Yetholm on Thursday.
Police said there were no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report would be filed with prosecutors in due course.
