HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) — A Harris County teenager has been arrested after he was accused of threatening to shoot down a Valley school last week, authorities said.
Officials with the Edinburgh Consolidated Independent School District said the teenager was arrested in Harris County within hours after he sent a threatening email to the assistant principal at Robert Vela High School last Thursday.
According to police, the email contained the words “shoot” and “shoot.”
The school later contacted the police, who called the FBI.
ECISD Police Chief Ricardo Perez said the FBI tracked down and arrested the teenager in Harris County’s Cy-Fair community.
