Samuel L. Jackson performs at the bingo event at SWG3 Bongo nightclub in Glasgow

Samuel L. Jackson was seen enjoying the celebrations at Bongo’s Bingo in SWG3 on Saturday while filming a new crime thriller in Scotland.

Videos and photos taken by the Partick venue show the 74-year-old recording a performance by a female dancer as he stands off the stage and later poses with the dancers at the popular club night.

Fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing and soon the surprise performance was being discussed on social media.

One fan tweeted, “Samuel L. Jackson being at Bongo’s Bingo on April Fool’s Day is the hardest thing the sim has simulated in a while.”

Another wrote: “My mum, grandmother and aunts went to Bongos Bingo and Samuel L. Jackson is there? Is that real? I knew he was in Glasgow but why did he go to Bongos Bingo in SWG3?

It comes after our sister newspaper reported that the pulp fiction actor is here to film Damaged, a new film about a Chicago detective who travels to Scotland to solve a series of murders.

He stars alongside Vincent Cassel, The Mummy’s John Hannah and Game of Thrones star Kate Dickie.
