‘S*** f***ing game’ – Todd Boehly delivers brutal verdict on Chelsea’s draw with Everton

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly made his feelings clear after watching his side draw with Everton on Saturday.
Graham Potter’s side twice gave up the lead in a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Ellis Simms equalized in the 89th minute after it looked like Kai Havertz had won the game with a penalty.
At the beginning of the game, Abdoulaye Doucoure had neutralized Joao Felix’s opening goal.
Boehly was filmed by a fan after the match and commented on his verdict: “S*** f***ing game.”
That tie ended the Blues’ streak of three straight wins in all competitions as their Premier League campaign continues to suggest mediocrity in midfield.
“We’re really disappointed because we lost two points at home,” Potter said after the game.
“You could see the intention of the team, there were a lot of positive things in the performance. But in the end we didn’t defend well enough. Conceding two goals means that winning the game is not that easy. That’s the disappointing thing.

Potter’s three-game revival came to a shattering halt against Everton
“Credit Everton, they do what they do well. They use their physicality, they use set pieces, they ask you a question. But most of the game we controlled well, as good as you can at this level.
“Ultimately, the first goal is really disappointing from a set piece perspective, we talked about that before the game. We didn’t attack the second goal well enough and put a lot of space to defend and didn’t do it well enough.
“If you look at how much we put into the game and tried to attack, it’s frustrating to be cheap on goals conceded.”
