Rescue Mission in ‘Disaster’ Needs Sanitation Items for Shelter Residents – Orange County Registry
The Orange County Rescue Mission desperately needs cleaning supplies for formerly homeless people living in their transition facilities in Orange County.
Jim Palmer, president of the nonprofit, said the need was “very severe” for the 178 residents at the Village of Hope, Tustin Veterans Outpost and Double R Ranch.
These are the items that Rescue Mission is looking for soap/shampoo, women’s (all sizes) and children’s (all sizes) underwear, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream. , feminine hygiene products, laundry detergent and toilet paper rolls.
The organization said it also needed new double bed sheets, towels and pillows.
Donations can be directed to the Hope Village at 1 Hope Drive in Tustin. The donation vault is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
