Readers express their appreciation for photojournalist Marcus Yam

About the editor: I’ve looked at Times photojournalist Marcus Yam’s images of the war in Ukraine and I can’t get over it.

I am a Vietnam War veteran and I believe Yam’s images present a very realistic and insightful history of the fighting in Ukraine. I look forward to more photos and comments from him.

I’m also a second generation Hungarian American. If I were younger and in better health, I would be there personally and support the Ukrainians.

Please tell Yam to stay safe and keep telling the real story. God bless him.
