Kylian Mbappe has revealed he’s learning a lot from playing alongside Messi. The two superstars of modern football were in high spirits in PSG’s 5-1 win on Sunday. The Argentine has shown signs of a budding partnership with Mbappe since his arrival at Parc des Princes last summer.

The Frenchman has assisted most of Messi’s goals this season and the two worked well together against Lorient as well. After the win, Mbappe said he enjoys playing with the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.

“I said on French television that I haven’t made my decision yet. I am calm. I’m finishing my season feeling good in my head. We’ll see what will happen. (…) I play with Messi, I enjoy playing with him a lot and we’ll see later,” said Mbappe.

He continued:

“See him every day, see what he can do. He can improve my game because he’s a unique player. I have the chance to play with him. It is a honor. I’ve always said that I never thought I could play with Messi, but today I do, I play with him. And I am very happy. I learn a lot with him. He is a unique player, a legend that will go down in football history. It’s my pleasure,” Mbappe said.

Mbappe also spoke about his future and even hinted that he could stay at PSG beyond the summer.

“I’m calm, I take my time to make the best decision because I don’t want to be wrong. There are new things to consider. It’s not an easy decision, I’m trying to make the best of it with my family,” Mbappe said.

PSG are favorites to sign Mohamed Salah this summer, according to Rousing the Kop via SPORT.

The future of the Egyptian phenomenon is in the stars with his current contract expiring next summer. Liverpool have already offered him a new contract and according to recent reports, the 29-year-old is ready to accept the terms. However, should Salah consider an exit, Ligue 1 giants PSG are poised to lap him.

The Parisians are looking to ramp up their attack amid uncertainties over Kylian Mbappe’s future. Salah’s arrival could help offset the Frenchman’s departure somewhat. The French giants are ready to move mountains to secure the Egyptian if talks with Liverpool collapse.

Mauricio Pochettino talks about his future

Paris manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that there have been no talks between him and PSG over his future. The Parisians are expected to make the changes following their UEFA Champions League debacle and the Argentine could be sacked this summer.

Pochettino tells Footmercato about his PSG future: “I’m not talking about my future with the club at the moment. I have one year left on my contract, we have to analyze the situation before making a decision.” 🇦🇷 #PSGPochettino is still a candidate for the Man Utd job with Erik ten Hag.

After defeating Lorient, Pochettino said he will respect the club’s decision regarding his future.

“At the moment we haven’t talked about the future. I have one year left on my contract but it’s important to analyze before making a decision and we will respect the club’s decision in the future. What will happen will happen,” said Pochettino. PSG transfer news round-up: Kylian Mbappe delighted to play alongside Lionel Messi; Parisians love to sign Liverpool star and more
