Princess Nokia shares ‘No Effort’, her first new music of 2022

Princess Nokia has shared her first new music of 2022 – check out the video for new single ‘No Effort’ below.

The rapper ended 2021 by teaming up with Yung Baby Tate for a new track called “Boys Are From Mars,” which followed last March’s “It’s Not My Fault.”

The new track features a video by Travis Libin of Princess Nokia and her crew hanging out at a skate park.

Check out the new track and video below.

In 2020, Princess Nokia released two albums simultaneously, Everything Is Beautiful and Everything Sucks.

In a three-star rating from the couple, NME said: “Thematically, ‘Everything Sucks’ and ‘Everything is Beautiful’ deliver nothing new. They have all the hallmarks of a Princess Nokia record — female empowerment, introspective monologues about her childhood, and bruja spirituality (a type of witchcraft practiced by some Latin American communities).

“Musically, she has yet to develop a cohesive sound […] “Everything Sucks” often feels like a musical patchwork quilt; All the sounds are sewn together but remain distinctly separate. Perhaps, given Princess Nokia’s notoriously multi-faceted nature, that’s the point of this whole project.”

In 2021, Princess Nokia also collaborated with Ashnikko on the track “Slumber Party,” which appeared on the pop star’s mixtape Demidevil, which was released in January last year.
