Police seek help searching for gun-wielding man at Seal Beach shoe store – Orange County Register
A man brandished a gun at a shoe store in Seal Beach on Saturday and police are now asking the public for help in identifying him, Seal Beach Police Department officials said.
Just before 11 a.m. on February 12, police received a tip about an armed man at Private Sneakers, a shoe store that was having a sale on special edition shoes.
Customers were queuing outside along the sidewalk and two were arguing over one allegedly cutting the line, according to a news release on Wednesday.
One man removed a gun from his belt, pointed it at the floor, and approached the person he was arguing with, but soon fled the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported and the gun was not discharged.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, between 23 and 26 years old, 6’4″, thin and pitted on his face. He wears a black rag, gray sweatpants, and a turquoise hooded sweater over a white t-shirt.
The vehicle he entered was described as a 2014 Buick LaCrosse in dark gray or black with California license plate #8CHA209.
