Police are looking for a fraud suspect who used a stolen wallet to shop online

ASHLEY-HUDSON, Indiana (WANE) — Police in Northeast Indiana have asked the public for help to locate a man accused of stealing a wallet and making fraudulent online purchases.

The investigation began in July when Ashley-Hudson police received a complaint about a stolen wallet.
During the course of the investigation, police learned that online purchases were fraudulently made at an Auburn store, according to a Facebook post Ashley-Hudson Indiana Police Department.
The Ashley-Hudson Police Department’s post says the suspect used someone else’s name and information to pick up part of the purchase from the store.
Officials have identified the suspect as 35-year-old Timothy L. Slone of Albion.
An arrest warrant was issued for Slone. He is charged with level 6 felony fraud for $750 and level 6 identity fraud.
