Police are investigating the shooting south of downtown

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (WANE) — Police were responding to a reported shooting that took place somewhere south of downtown Monday night.

Police were called to the BP gas station on the corner of Broadway and Taylor Street.

A gas station employee said someone came into the gas station and said they had been shot.

The shooting did not take place at the gas station and it is not yet known where the shooting took place.

The condition of the victim is not yet known.
