Players are realizing that GTA 6 could come with a free upgrade – fans have been asking for it

FANS of the Grand Theft Auto series took a closer look at leaked footage and discovered a surprising new feature.

Last year, a hacker hacked into developer Rockstar’s database and released nearly a hundred videos featuring game footage from the early development of the upcoming GTA 6.

While the footage has been floating around for months, people have been re-examining it and gathering new information.

Dataminers examined the code hidden in the footage and found that GTA 6’s map will be roughly twice the size of GTA 5’s.

GTA 5 already has one of the largest video game map sizes, so GTA 6 will be huge.

However, the new information was found by searching the videos themselves instead of the code.

Eagle-eyed Redditors noticed that sometimes both the game’s protagonists, Lucia and Jason, would move at the same time.

While Jason was the focus of the footage, they noticed that Lucia didn’t move like an AI would normally move a character.

This could indicate a vastly improved AI system, but fans believe a second person controlled them.

This would mean that GTA 6 would feature cooperative gameplay for the first time in the mainline series.

It might just be couch co-op, but given the success of GTA Online, it likely will be online co-op.

This theory is further supported by seeing an option to “Share Inventory”, suggesting that the two players can share items.

Nothing has been officially announced as Rockstar is keeping GTA 6 a secret so far.

However, if these leaks and theories are true, it’s shaping up to be the best GTA game yet.
