Pio Market launches GoFundMe after a crash destroys the entrance

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (WANE) – After a recent crash destroyed the entrance to Pio Market in northeast Fort Wayne, owner, Neal Butler, started a GoFundMe to help meet unexpected expenses.
According to GoFundMe, the driver left the scene after crashing into the front door, causing more than $5,000 in damage.
The one at 1225 East State Blvd. Pio Market has been in business for over 100 years and specializes in fine meat and deli products.
Butler has been running the store for around four decades.
On February 10 at 7:24 p.m., GoFundMe raised $1,940.
The incident came about two months after another incident in which a car crashed into The Village Tap, which is right next to Pio Market.
