Perhaps Herschel Walker actually does not remember paying for that abortion

That quote went through my head and made me think of all the other famous men who said they don’t remember the women who accused them of abusing, cheating, or anything else. Since the Republicans trip over each other to compare the reports ‘attacking’ Walker over alleged sexual assault charges against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and former President Donald Trump card— who both claimed not to know or remember the women they accused — I see another similarity: “Not remembering the women they accused” is a pretty one Narrative denial because even if the accused famous man is real Not remember the woman who wI would just talk to how many Miscellaneous women he harmed. Are you lying or did you? not that one even register on your Radar? Is one better than the other?

Often enough for women the most traumatic experience of our lives really could be something the male abuser doesn’t even remember the next day — sometimes due to excessive drinking, or sometimes because the interaction or assault was normal, casual, or just unimportant to him. You don’t even think about it; They probably couldn’t identify any of the women who molested them in a police lineup today. But being snapped at and stalked by a stranger can be a terrifying, even traumatic and panic-inducing experience for a woman, especially if you have survived prior sexual violence.

During my freshman year at the University of Southern California, a man fondled my breasts and crotch at a fraternity party while throwing up in a trash can. AAlmost every friend I’ve made in college has survived some form of sexual violence. A few years later, in 2021, dozens of USC students were talking about being drugged and assaulted at frat parties. sexual misconduct is widespread at colleges across the country – but on the worst night in the lives of some young women, there’s really no telling how many canopied drinks were served, how many women were assaulted. I bet a lot of male abusers can’t remember a single face from the women who drugged and assaulted them. It meant nothing to them. That doesn’t mean the assaults didn’t happen.

walker was charged injuring and threatening to kill several former romantic partners, including the mother of one of his sons, as well as her son Christian too.
