GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Over 1.5 million voters have applied for mail-in ballots in Michigan’s upcoming election, state election officials say.
That’s more than the 1.16 million absentee ballots cast in the 2018 general election, the Michigan Secretary of State’s office said in a news release Tuesday. This year’s parliamentary elections will take place on November 8th.
Postal ballots can be requested by post, online or from your local secretariat. If you already have a completed and signed postal ballot, you can mail it to your local secretariat or drop it off at a post box. It must be received by your local office before 8:00 p.m. on November 8th.
Further information on postal voting and registering to vote can be found at michigan.gov/vote.
