OSHP: 2 people ‘seriously injured’ in Williams County tractor-trailer accident

WILLIAMS COUNTY, Ohio (WANE) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is investigating an accident in Williams County that left two people “seriously” injured.

Authorities responded to the intersection of US 6 and County Road 12C in Center Township around 4:53 p.m. Tuesday.

According to OSHP, 53-year-old Donald R. Williams of Auburn, Indiana, was driving a tractor-trailer truck on westbound US 6 while 74-year-old Tracy A. Moog of Bryan, Ohio, was driving southbound on County Road 12C of the USA drove 6th

Authorities said Moog pulled into the intersection and hit the tractor trailer.

According to OSHP, Williams suffered no injuries in the accident, but Moog and his passenger, 74-year-old Connie J. Moog, were both taken to a hospital with “serious” injuries.

The OSHP also said that not wearing seat belts was a contributing factor to the accident.
