Ohio traffic delay leads to arrests for possession of fentanyl

CELINA, Ohio (WANE) – Police arrested two Celina, Ohio men following a traffic stop after fentanyl was apparently discovered in their vehicle.

Just before 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Fort Recovery Minster Road and US 127. The deputy called a K-9 unit and saw the passenger, identified as Dustin Kitchen, 27, trying to hide something, according to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department.
A search of the vehicle found about 10 grams of suspected fentanyl.
Kitchen and the driver, Aron Lange, 31, were committed to the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility for illegal drug possession. Both are held without bond.
