Nick Murawski Talks ‘9 Good Minutes’ With White Sox

CHICAGO — With just about a week left in Major League Baseball’s season, many South Side fans were hoping the White Sox were preparing for a third straight playoff appearance. Many had expected the team to also win its second straight American League Central Division title.
But as the team nears the final nine games of the season, those hopes are dashed in a season that fell far short of expectations. From the off-season acquisitions, to the management, to the injuries and plays on the field, nothing has worked really well for the team that has been playing with pride for the past week and a half.
As fans now look to 2023, questions arise about a managerial change and what needs to be done to keep the competition window open. Perhaps that could involve a change to the core of the team that was built when the team decided to go through a rebuild after the 2016 season.
Locked on Sox’s Nick Murawski discussed all of these topics as the 2022 season draws to a close on “9 Good Minutes” on WGN News Now this week as the team begins its final round of play. He spoke about what he thinks went wrong with this club in 2022 and the changes he could expect in what is an important off-season.
You can watch Nick’s discussion with Larry Hawley about this year’s White Sox season and the future of this episode of 9 Good Minutes in the video above.
