New video released in 2018 about the disappearance of pregnant postal worker Kierra Coles

CHICAGO — Chicago Police Department have released video of the last known pictures of Kierra Coles, the pregnant postal worker who was last seen leaving her Chatham home on October 2, 2018.
Three years after her disappearance, newly released surveillance video shows Coles entering her apartment on the 8100 block of S. Vernon. Hours later, she is seen leaving her home and getting into a car with a man.
At approximately 10:42 p.m., surveillance video shows Cole withdrawing money from an ATM in a store on the 8600 block of S. Cottage Grove.
Police say Coles left the shop three minutes later in the last pictures taken of the 26-year-old, who was three months pregnant at the time.
Two days later, on October 4, Coles’ mother, Karen Phillips, asked police to enter Kierra’s home for a welfare check, but was not found.
Eventually, police questioned a man identified as a “person of interest,” who was seen parking in front of Kierra’s apartment and then going inside before driving his car away.
Officials say he gave several different accounts of what happened but was never charged. Anyone with information can anonymously tip the police at cpdtip.com.
