Mixed breed dog Larry is a funny – and funny – dork – Orange County Register

Breed: A little shepherd, a little chow – maybe
Age: 2 years
Sex: neutered male
Size: About 70 pounds
Larry’s story: After being seen wandering around a neighborhood for three weeks, Larry was taken to a Los Angeles County animal shelter. About two months later he was adopted and returned the next day; The adopters said he was too wild for their young children. Larry is quite a big boy and was probably too much for very small children; That’s why the rescue thinks he just needs a home with responsible adults. Larry is friendly, happy, easygoing and quite goofy. He is an almost perfect dog. Damn close because he has a flaw that may have caused him to stray – he’s an escape artist. He must be an indoor dog that will be supervised when outside unless your home has 12 foot walls. He would be a great hiking companion. He knows a few pointers, but would definitely benefit from some reward-based obedience training.
Adoption Fee: $200
Adoption Process: Call or text Maryanne with the Shamrock Rescue Foundation at 714-270-4187 (text preferred) or email shamrockrf@gmail.com. If you are interested in adopting Larry, see his bio and fill out the online application.
