Mike Tyson has established the character he wants to return to the ring and fight Jake Paul.
The legendary boxer has claimed he has “no f***ing money” and wants a “billion dollars” to put the gloves back on.
Tyson, the former undisputed heavyweight champion, retired from professional fighting in 2005 and returned to the ring in 2020 for a show with Roy Jones Jr that ended in a tie.
It was the last time he stepped onto the big screen, but said afterwards that he would like to return.
A few years later there were ties to both Logan, who fought Floyd Mayweather, and Jake Paul, with the latter reportedly being in a $50 million deal against “Iron Mike” and thought those reports had been downplayed .
And Tyson said it would cost an astronomical fee to get him to fight again.
“Nobody told me that,” Tyson said on his podcast when asked if he wanted to go toe-to-toe with the YouTuber.
“Hey, I don’t have any damn money. So where’s the damn contract?
“I do not know anything about it. Listen, I’ve been smoking with him for ages, I’ve also made some shrooms with him. But I’ve never heard that before.
“I went to a party with him in St. Barts not long ago and he never told me about it.
“I’ve never heard that from anyone, I’ve only heard that from you guys.
“We gotta get some more man shit, blue eyed blonde hair, that shit’s very expensive, we gotta get some more money man.”
While he claims he needs some cash, his purse demands suggest he doesn’t take an argument with Paul too seriously.
When asked how much exactly, he said, channeling his inner Dr. Evil: “a billion dollars”.
