Massive replica of SoFi Stadium makes its debut at Legoland

A world record breaking Lego model of SoFi Stadium was assembled at Legoland in Carlsbad.

The massive replica stadium took more than 6,000 hours to assemble by a team of 25 master model builders. The Lego SoFi Stadium is more than 30 feet long and 15 feet wide and is made from more than half a million Lego bricks.

It is believed to be the largest Lego stadium model in the world, Legoland officials said.

The world-record Lego structure is located in the Miniland USA section of the Legoland California Resort, which has previously hosted Southern California attractions such as the Griffith Observatory and Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

The SoFi Lego model was assembled in parts and assembled on site over several days, Legoland said.

Standing on the field of Lego Stadium are members of the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. Lego SoFi Stadium opens to the public next week, and LA Rams All-Pro defenseman Aaron Donald will visit the park for the opening.
