Mia’s Story: Mia is a nimble lover! She has a lot of life left and getting ready for it is her best. She is curious, playful and is learning to walk easily on a leash. She needs a family patient enough to show her the world and if they have a well-adjusted pup, that will be a bonus. She can be shy and nervous at first, but as she learns about the land she loves to explore around. Sometimes, her barking means, “Pick me up and hold me, or I’ll feel like I’m lost.” She has up-to-date vaccines and has had a full veterinary check-up. She would do best in a home without small children and would be the perfect pet for a senior. Mia is blind, but that doesn’t stop her from going around at all.
