Male teacher arrested after pupils ‘upskirted’ at Scottish secondary school

A MALE teacher has been arrested after pupils were allegedly ‘upskirted’ at a Scottish school.
Police confirmed the 28-year-old employee was swiped at Greenfaulds High School in Cumbernauld on Tuesday following a report of alleged voyeurism.

The man is understood to have been suspended while the alleged incident is investigated, the Daily Record reports.
Officials said he was released pending further investigation.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 28-year-old man has been arrested and released pending further investigation after Tuesday 28 May
“The investigation is ongoing.”


A spokesman for North Lanarkshire Council added: “Police have been contacted following an alleged incident at a school and we are assisting them in their investigation.”
“Upskirting” is a slang term for a type of voyeurism, when someone uses devices such as a camera or cell phone to take photos or videos under someone’s clothing without their permission.
Elsewhere, we told how police officers hunted down a man after a woman was reportedly upskirted on a train in Edinburgh.
The incident occurred while the passenger was traveling to Kirkcaldy on an Edinburgh Gateway service on January 19.
The woman was seated at a table when the train stopped at Inverkeithing and a man got on and sat diagonally across from her.
