Malaysia Madani stresses fair balanced development for all groups: PM

IPOH: The implementation of the Malaysia-Madani concept must emphasize the community’s balance in its development so that the urge to grow is felt by all groups, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said (Picture).

He said the emblem of a society’s development should be not only the shapes of famous and tall buildings, but also the balance between the upper class and the common people.

“Between the mahligai (castle-like houses) and people’s homes, between the luxury restaurants and people’s stalls, which are beautiful and clean. There is also a lot of greenery and parks for the people,” he said.

He said this while leading the National Landscape Day Celebration 2023 (HLN2023) taking place here in Taman DR Seenivasagam today.

Also present were the Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming and the Mayor of Ipoh Datuk Rumaizi Baharin. –Bernama
