Lizzo proved she really is the queen of heartwarming moments after she interrupted her show to hug an emotional fan.

The singer shared a clip of the cute encounter during a show in Milan, Italy, on social media on Friday (March 3). Lizzo shared that she was performing her song “Special” when she spotted a fan holding up a sign that read, “Can I have a hug?”

“Last night singing ‘Special’ I felt like someone in the crowd really needed to hear that message. Then, later in the show, I saw a sign that said, ‘Can I have a hug?'” she wrote on social media. “And I knew exactly who that message was for.”

In the clip, Lizzo, dressed in a beautiful sparkly rainbow outfit, stopped singing the hit after seeing the sign and invited the fan to come on stage. She went on stage to interact face-to-face with the fan.

“You really need a hug?” the singer asked, to which the emotional fan started nodding.

“I need a hug too, come on,” Lizzo replied before hugging the fan.

Fans on social media felt the love together and gushed over the beautiful moment between the singer and a member of her dedicated fan base.

This was by far the first time that Lizzo put a smile on the faces of her fans.

A few days earlier, during a show in Germany, Lizzo sang an improvised acapella version of Rammstein’s “Du Hast” to the delight of fans.

The ‘About Damn Time’ singer explains to the audience that she recently learned the German word ‘Oma’ (which means ‘grandma’) before bursting out into a cover of ‘Du Hast’ and got the crowd laughing.

Then, at a tour stop in Berlin, Lizzo sang the song’s iconic lyrics – “You, you have/ You have me/ You, you have/ You have me” – while wearing a glittery lime-green bodysuit. Lizzo even had a dance break with some headbanging while her backup dancers bounced along to the music.

In a similarly carefree moment, Lizzo was watching Sesame Street and was given a cookie whistle by Elmo. The singer, who is a professional flautist, admitted she’s “played a lot of instruments” but “never played a biscuit before.”

Lizzo played a few bars of a majestic tune while Elmo danced to it before Cookie Monster sauntered in. Cookie Monster asked if he could “try” the Chocolate Chip Cookie Instrument.

“Of course,” Lizzo replied. “I didn’t know you played the flute, Cookie Monster.”

“I don’t,” Cookie Monster said before devouring the baked treat in front of her.
