LA County Officials, Religious Leaders Respond to Death of LA Auxiliary Bishop David O’Connell – Orange County Register

While the death of Auxiliary Bishop David O’Connell is still under investigation, many took to Twitter to offer their condolences from across California and beyond.

Bishop David O’Connell was a personal friend I met during my tenure in Congress. He was an advocate of immigration reform and cared deeply about our most vulnerable. I will miss him very much. I keep his loved ones and parishioners in my thoughts and prayers.
