The video was removed and KSI apologized for an offense he may have caused.
He released a statement on Twitter which read: “I would like to apologize for saying a racial slur in a recent Sidemen video.
“There’s no excuse, no matter what the circumstances, I shouldn’t have said it and I’m sorry.
“I’ve always told my audience not to worship me or put me on a pedestal because I’m human. I’m not perfect, I’ll screw up my life, and lately I’ve screwed up a lot.
“So I decided I’d just take a break from social media for a while.”
Despite his apology, fans slammed the 29-year-old, claiming he should have known better.
One wrote, “Long been a KSI fan but so weird that in the latest Sidemen video he said ‘P***’ even when they bleeped it and it was ‘jokingly’ for the content.”
Another added: “Other racial slurs would not be used as punch lines for YouTube game shows. Just make the word light and the experience of certain people.”
A third said: “Nah KSI you’re not a funny man you can’t say ‘P*ki’ in any context.
“This crowd will do anything for the content🙄”
