Killer husband GUILTY of murdering pregnant wife by pushing her 50ft from Arthur’s seat

A man has been found guilty of killing his pregnant wife when he pushed her off Arthur’s Seat.

Kashif Anwar, 29, has been found guilty of the murder of Fawziyah Javed by a High Court jury in Edinburgh.

The 31-year-old was bludgeoned to death in September 2021, resulting in multiple blunt force injuries and the death of her and her unborn baby.

The Leeds, West Yorkshire, man denied the charges but after a week-long trial a jury found him responsible.
