Kawhi Leonard and Paul George Healthy and Ready to Contend for NBA Title – Orange County Register
PLAYA VISTA — The Clippers held their annual preseason media day at the team’s practice center on Monday before heading to Las Vegas for training camp, which begins Tuesday.
All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, new signing John Wall and coach Tyronn Lue all spoke at length and explained how excited they are to play together this season.
Lue spoke about his team’s roster potentially being 11-12 deep and playing time will be something he will have to manage throughout the season.
George shared that he believes a “Team USA” approach, where everyone plays hard during their minutes and switches teams when necessary, could benefit the roster.
Southern California News Group columnist Miriam Swanson and sportscaster John W. Davis shared their observations from Media Day and discussed the high expectations for a team that finished 42-40 last season before conceding two play-in The New Orleans Pelicans lost games against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
