Katy Resident plans to travel after winning a whopping $19 million on the Lotto Texas jackpot

KATY, Texas– A big hypothetical question people often ask is what they would do if they won the lottery. One lucky Katy resident was able to answer that question after matching all six numbers drawn in September’s Lotto Texas jackpot draw.

The winner claimed a $19 million ticket purchased from the Master Food Mart at 13053 E. FM 1097 Road in Willis. When purchasing the ticket, the applicant elected the cash prize option and received $11,992,501.82 pre-tax under the Texas Lottery.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, told the Texas Lottery that he plans to use the money for travel and business.
