Halloween is over, and that means it’s officially JoJo Siwa’s favorite season.
At the heart of her partnership with Ocean Spray for the Power Your Holidays campaign, Siwa spoke to individuals about their holiday plans – and shared her admiration for those struggling this season. For 19-year-old multihyphenate, teaming up with the brand for the holidays was an easy decision.
Siwa said she “grew up” on his iconic cranberry sauce, which currently reminds her of life before fame.
“It just reminds me of being a little kid, you know what I mean?” Siwa said. “It reminds me of my little life in Nebraska, mostly.”
The YouTube star added, “We eat it with all of my mom’s famous homemade meals.”
While reflecting on her life growing up in Omaha, Siwa, who currently lives in Los Angeles, admitted she misses the crisp winters.
“I would give anything to have a cold, wintry Christmas,” she said. “I miss the snow so much.”
The “Boomerang” singer said that while her vacation plans aren’t finalized yet, she will be enjoying them with her family, companions and sweetheart, Avery Cyrus.

Siwa added that she will encourage her friends and family to join her as she pays homage to the brand’s iconic sauce through dance.
In particular, she will be reproducing the iconic shake of the sauce to Ocean Spray’s new song “Squirm, Squirm, Wiggle, Shake” on TikTok and Instagram for the holiday campaign.
“I’m going to convince everyone I know to tremble with me,” said the Dance Mothers star.
While this campaign, a celebration of the sauce’s 110th anniversary, is merry and light-hearted, the singer acknowledged that the holidays aren’t merry for everyone. “They’re really special, but on the other hand, they’re really tough for a lot of people,” Siwa said, adding that it’s an especially difficult time for those who lost a friend or family member this year.
The star, an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQ+ group, also noted that this season can be challenging for people who are “afraid to be themselves, but this is the year that you realized who you are really are”. “Anyway, I honestly think the holidays are free grins,” Siwa said, going on to compare the holidays to a trip to Disney World.
“You go to Disney and all your concerns go away,” Siwa said. “I feel like Christmas has that same power, and any holiday you celebrate can have that same power provided you let it.”
