Jesy Nelson fans are furious as the singer makes a huge career announcement

JESY Nelson has sent her loyal fans bonkers after confirming the release of her brand new single.

The former Little Mix singer, 31, confirmed via her Instagram account that she will be releasing her new song “Bad Thing” next week.

Alongside the exciting announcement, Jesy revealed the cover art for her upcoming release, which is due out on April 14th.

The black and white cover features a glamorous Jesy rocking a vintage look while posing seductively.

Her name and the title of the song are emblazoned across the top in large white letters.

It is Jesy’s second solo single after a series of delays that separated her from her record label, Polydor Records.

Jesy’s debut single “Boyz” featured US rap superstar Nicki Minaj, and many critics praised the girl band star’s A-list guest post for the first track.

Although the song did well, there was concern about Jesy’s next release, which comes almost a year and a half after her last solo release.

The Sun previously revealed Jesy’s intentions to release the single Bad Thing after we confirmed the star had directed a music video to promote the record earlier this year.

A source told The Sun at the time: “Jesy loves to be creative in her music videos and is keen to channel her mum and play the role of someone who falls in love with a guy who ends up in prison.

“It’s a really meaningful track for them and the lyrics are personal.”

Jesy will play her mother in the music video after delving into her painful past for solo material.

Another source added more details to The Sun, saying: “The video is set in the 1970s and is based on the story of how Jesy’s mother met her father.

“Jesy plays her mother and they shot in old East End pubs and a jazz club to recreate their love story.

“First it’s very romantic, but then you see him with his lover, then her crying at home after he didn’t come home for dinner.

“There’s brawls, gaslighting, shocking scenes.

“Fans will really see the real Jesy after this video and understand a lot more about her family.”

It is not known if her father cheated in real life or if she was creative on the music video.
