James Corden’s last Carpool karaoke guest turned out to be a British megastar
JAMES Corden’s latest Carpool karaoke guest has been revealed to be singing superstar Adele.
Last year it was announced that it will be the TV star’s final season on US talk show The Late Late Show.
British superstar Adele, 34, was pictured filming the hugely popular segment with James, 44.
It comes after The Sun revealed Adele has been secretly writing and recording new music for the past year after being inspired by love for her American sports agent fiancé, Rich Paul.
The record followed 30, which came out less than two years ago and was their first album in six years.
The two stars shared a laugh as they cruised around Los Angeles in a black Range Rover SUV, in pictures provided to the Mail.
The duo were spotted belting out some of Adele’s hits on Tuesday.
The Easy on Me singer looked chic in a camel Louis Vuitton trench coat and bright yellow trousers.
While James opted for a trendy black polo shirt, navy blue pants and white trainers for the outing.
James will host an additional 12 episodes of The Late Late Show before the series ends, with just three more carpool karaoke sessions remaining.
A few days ago it was announced that Adele had written and recorded new music over the past year.
Those close to her say she has written her most uplifting and positive songs of all time and is talking about releasing a surprise album later this year.
A source said: “Some of 30 were actually recorded before the pandemic hit, so Adele sat on the record forever during lockdown.
“Since then her life has changed completely. She has gone from rock bottom to mad love and wants the world to know.
“Her music reflects that and the next album will be her most upbeat of all time. She won’t be the queen of heartbreak ballads much longer.”
His 2017 Carpool Karaoke segment with Adele has been viewed over 254 million times on YouTube.
And his carpool karaoke special starring Paul McCartney, filmed in Liverpool, won a Primetime Emmy Award.
James announced in April he was leaving his hit US talk show to spend more time with his family in the UK.
The actor and entertainer turned down a multi-million dollar deal to stay in his role.
