I’ve discovered a McDonald’s breakfast dupe that’s a fraction of the cost and tastes just as delicious

A MCDONALD’S lover has managed to find a breakfast dupe that costs a lot less than the original and tastes just as delicious.
McDonald’s is famous for its great fast food offerings.
But one shopper went to place an order via the Uber Eats app, only to find she was charged £1.89 for just a hash brown.
Horrified by the discovery, she posted on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing & Bargains.
She said: “I checked out UberEats at McDonald’s and couldn’t believe what they charge for 1 hash brown!
“I was going to grab treats for payday but absolutely decided against it!!! £1.89 for 1 hash brown.
“Then I remembered I’d seen them at Aldi before, so I checked out some other stuff as well if needed.”
She found out you can get 10 Hashbrowns for just £1.89 – and they’re pretty much a McDonald’s dupe.
She said they taste pretty much the same.
“I made some in my air fryer and they were delicious.”
The post has more than 1,000 likes and fans flocked to the comments to give their opinions.
And it seems that many people had already found a better deal.
One said: “I get these from Aldi for my boys, air fry them too, they love them.”
Another tagged his friend and said: “You have to get these at Aldi.”
While another commented: “You must get these from Aldi.”
Aldi is selling 10 Hashbrowns for just £1.89 – 50p more than McDonald’s/Uber Eats.
Aldi’s Hashbrowns would cost just 18p each.
In-store, McDonald’s hash browns cost £1.39 each, so it would be cheaper to buy direct than buying from a third party.
Prices vary, of course, depending on the type and location of the order.
It’s always best to look at different ordering options and decide which option works best for you.
There are many ways to save money when shopping at Aldi.
The supermarket is known for selling dupes of luxury items and you should consider trying them out before you spend the money.
For example, shoppers were quick to absorb his candles and fragrances, which echo some of Jo Malone’s items.
It also recently duped a McDonald’s menu item after it was dropped from the restaurant chain.
And let’s not forget that it’s the Cuthbert the Caterpillar cake that bears an uncanny resemblance to M&S’ famous Colin.
How can I save money at McDonald’s?
By logging into the My McDonald’s app, you’ll stay up to date with the latest deals and offers.
The app allows you to browse the latest McDonald’s menu – you can download it for free via Google Play or the App Store.
It works anywhere you have internet, so you can browse deals on the go or at home.
Every Monday, the app offers a variety of offers to redeem.
Researching and comparing prices at your local McDonald’s stores could also save you some money on your order.
Menu prices can vary at restaurants within a few miles of each other, so choose your location wisely.
Our research shows that a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart.
You can bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you are a McDonald’s app user.
Remember to enter your date of birth in the app – otherwise you could miss out on free food or drinks.
Birthday deals tend to match McDonald’s Monday deals, discounts, and deals.
If you’re a Big Mac fan you can get the burger, along with a side of fries, for just £1.99.
To receive the offer, you must complete a quick feedback survey after a previous visit to redeem the offer.
All you need is an old McDonald’s receipt from a previous trip no more than 60 days ago.
A 12-digit code will be printed on the purchase receipt with which you can enter this McDonald’s food for thought Website to fill out a short survey about your recent trip.

You will then be given a five digit code which is your voucher towards the £1.99 offer so make a note of it.
