Is Roblox down? Thousands of players report that a popular game isn’t working

THOUSANDS Roblox players are struggling to play the popular game due to a mysterious outage.

More than 3,000 players reported issues on the Down Detector website as of Tuesday afternoon.

However, it looks like the real issue could be something to do with their ISP.

Virgin Media customers have also vented about online access problems.

Frustrated users shared a screenshot showing a “connection error”.

“Sorry, there was a problem reaching our servers,” it says.

“Please try again.”

People rushed to Twitter to find out if others are having the same issue.

“Is #ROBLOX down??,” one player tweeted.

Roblox is a multiplayer online game where players build virtual worlds out of building blocks.

It has more than 100 million active monthly players.

An estimated 1.5 million children play Roblox in the UK alone.

Players download the app for computers, consoles, smartphones or tablets and use it to play a catalog of games.

You can also add friends and chat while playing.

Globally, Roblox has an average of more than 210 million monthly players, most of whom are children.

Players use core building components to create and share online worlds for everyone to explore.

It’s free to play and purchase-based, paid in a currency known as Robux.
