Instagram is adding Posts You’ve Seen feature, which lists EVERY photo you’ve viewed – how to find it

INSTAGRAM quietly introduced a “Posts You’ve Seen” feature a few years ago, but it was quickly scrapped – much to the dismay of users.

Still, there are a handful of features to help you keep track of what you’ve been viewing on the social media platform.

What is the Instagram Posts You’ve Seen Feature?

A feature called Posts You’ve Seen was first spotted by a social media consultant Matt Navarre in 2019 with the help of the tech site WABetaInfo.

It was designed to solve a problem that has long plagued the app due to algorithm order.

But Instagram then reintroduced the chronological feed.

The Posts You’ve Seen feature tracks photos, videos, and profiles you’ve viewed and displays them in one easy-to-read list.

If you had it, it was hidden between Saved and Bag in your Instagram settings.

Where can I find the Posts You’ve Seen feature on Instagram?

The feature was tested in 2019 and was never rolled out to everyone in the app.

Four years later, it’s unlikely to appear now — especially since Instagram has revived the chronological feed.

Instagram is not guaranteed to introduce features that appear in the test build.

The platform regularly tests features, but not all make it to the live public version of the app.

It’s possible that Instagram got bad feedback on the feature and scrapped it entirely.

What other features does Instagram have?

While the Posts You’ve Seen feature seems dead in the water, there are other ways to see what you’ve interacted with on Instagram instead.

In the main settings menu you can see your activity.

From there you can select interactions.

This will show you everything you’ve commented on, liked, and also received replies to on Instagram Stories.
