Indiana Governor Released From Hospital After Pneumonia

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb has returned home after being hospitalized for pneumonia, his office said Saturday.
According to his press secretary Erin Murphy, Holcomb, 54, was diagnosed with pneumonia after he went to a doctor on Thursday believing he had the flu.
“As a result of great caution, he was hospitalized and is responding well to treatment,” Murphy said in a statement released Friday.
In a statement released on Saturday, she said Holcomb has been released and is resting at home.
Holcomb was scheduled to travel to southern Indiana for an awards ceremony on Friday, but the governor’s office announced without explanation Thursday morning that the event had been postponed a week.
