In Hopes To Help Heal After Monterey Park Tragedy, Pasadena Museum Offers Free Admission – Orange County Register

Aiming to help the community after Saturday’s mass shootings in Monterey Park, the USC Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena is offering free admission through Sunday.
“At the USC Pacific Asia Museum, we strive to make the museum a place of welcome and refuge for our community during difficult times,” said Valentina Quezada, the museum’s education and engagement manager, on Tuesday, April 24. January.

“By offering free entry for the rest of the month, we want to open up our space for people to reflect, process grief, and human-centered connection. Our education team is working on other ways to support and strengthen our community in the coming weeks and months.”
The announcement comes three days after a gunman killed 11 people at a dance studio during the community’s New Year celebrations.
