I’m a former Hooters waitress – I earned a $100 tip, but I had to fulfill the weirdest request for an elderly customer

THIS former Hooter girl got an extra tip for fulfilling a bizarre request from an elderly customer, and she has called the restaurant a “super toxic work environment.”
The ex-waitress was tipped $100 on several occasions for not doing much work, but the gig had a few downsides, including some customers making odd requests.

TikToker Dazee Mae (@dazeemaee) posted a video claiming that the Hooters servers had “some really weird regulars” at her old restaurant.
“One that particularly catches my eye is a guy who asked for a girl to bring his check to him on another girl’s shoulders,” she said.
Dazee explained that she was “one of the lightest [the] Day shift and this was one of my good friend’s regulars.
“Often she would let me climb on her shoulders and hand him his check.”
She added that the client “would tip a lot more if we did that, and I have no idea what I’m fulfilling for him, but he was super old.”
“But just for me, riding around the restaurant on her shoulders was a few extra bucks for me. So I did it,” Dazee said.
The ex-waitress said that the actual daily routine of her job is simple, but the environment is mentally taxing.
“There’s been several times I’ve worked here where I’ve gotten up to a hundred dollars just because I’m, I don’t know, in shorts,” she said.
“However, it was mentally draining and exhausting,” Dazee claimed.
“It took such a toll on your mental health and to see other girls made worse by it was really sad and also heartbreaking,” she said.
The ex-waitress added: “It was such good money for such an easy job though.”
Dazee said you don’t have to work as hard as you’d expect from other service jobs.
“You don’t have to clean the bathrooms. You don’t have to clean the tables,” she explained.
Dazee added, “You basically don’t have any outside work at all other than rolling cutlery, and if you’re in the service industry, you know it doesn’t work that way.”
“However, this was really a super toxic work environment,” she claimed.
Dazee said, “While I’ve met many people I still cherish to this day, I don’t think it was ever worth it.”
