IHSAA reveals football section pairings

INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) — The march to Lucas Oil Stadium begins in less than two weeks with the 50th IHSAA Football State Tournament. Now the roadmap has been set for the teams chasing a state championship.

On Sunday, IHSAA announced the section pairings for all six classes. The first week of section play will take place on Friday 21st October. All Class 6A and 5A teams will receive a bye week before beginning section play on October 28th.
