“If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament”

About the editor: An anti-abortion letter writer, to use his words, “seems to miss the critical point” — when a woman has a heart attack, no one can lawfully force her physical choices.
Or maybe he missed this well-known point: if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.

About the editor: A recent letter writer claimed that the critical point in the abortion argument was “whether the premature babies are human or not.”
My test of whether fetuses are human is simple: point to them. If you point to visible fetuses, they are humans. If you’re pointing at pregnant women instead, they’re not.
Unfortunately, many people do not see the pregnant woman.
