Since then, the Miracle Cleaning Paste, which retails for £1 in Wilko, has become the go-to for many cleaning enthusiasts across the country.

But despite its popularity, it is so Strictly speaking any good?

Well, one TikTok user, Roxy (@thats.so.roxy), went out to see for herself and shared her final thoughts on TikTok.

The cleaning lover, who has almost 19,000 fans on the social media platform, tested it on her white walls with black scuffs.

First, as she demonstrated in her video, Roxy wet her sponge and dipped it in the abrasive paste.

With the softer side of the sponge she went over the dirty walls a few times.

But while she did notice some of the stains coming off, Roxy insisted that the pink paste also removed the paint from the walls.

Unhappy with the results, the TikTok user vowed, “I’ll just stick with using magic wall erasers.”

Other cleaning fanatics rushed to comments, where some shared their top hacks for banishing dark spots.

One wrote: “Idk [I don’t know] if you’ve tried, but toothpaste, baking soda and water!

“Out, him [put the] first use toothpaste on the wall and then use the soda water.”

“Try scrubbing, daddy and water,” read another suggestion.

“Yes, I hate the paste, but I love the oven cleaner,” added a fan of the series.

“Try a fantastic spray. My son has crayons, felt tip pens, pencil marks, a few small scuffs and that removed it all,” said one mother.

A spokesman for The Pink Stuff said: “The Pink Stuff Paste is a mild vegetable oil based abrasive that contains no harmful chemicals.

“The packaging has clear instructions to rub gently, being careful not to apply too much pressure.

“It is always recommended to test it on an inconspicuous area before using it on any surface.”
