I bought 20 drinks from McDonald’s to see how much I won playing their new game – this is how it went

So one man decided to buy 20 drinks at his local fast food restaurant to see how much he could win at the game.

“I bought 20 cups of drinks at McDonald’s just to see what the odds are of winning the Winning Sips contest,” the man said in a video on his Mad About Maccies TikTok page.

“So here are the results.”

After peeling off 20 stickers, four of them were “instant wins,” meaning he won “an apple pie, a medium-sized milkshake, an oatmeal, and a McMuffin with sausage and egg.”

“I also got a digital prize that I had to redeem in the McDonald’s app,” he continued, revealing that the prize was for 6 Chicken McNuggets.

“The remaining 15 stickers didn’t bring in an immediate prize but they are entered into a £10,000 prize draw,” he said.

“I hope I’m lucky!”

People quickly took to the comments section to weigh in on his winnings, writing: “Ordered last night literally.

“First peel off the sticker, scan and boom, I won a glass!”

“My first win was £5, bosh!” added another.

“I won £5 cash and 6 McNuggets,” boasted a third.

As someone else said, “I’ve had two drinks and won twice!”

“I got £20 from it,” wrote another.

But not everyone was happy with their prizes.

“I bought my first today and won a McPlant,” sighed one.

“I’ve never been so disappointed in my life.”
