How to force your loved one’s iPhone to ring in an emergency

The Do Not Disturb feature on an iPhone is a great way to stop calls, texts, or other notifications from lighting up or ringing your phone.

You can turn it on manually or have it turn on automatically at certain times of the day. I often use it when I go to bed. Of course, the notifications and alerts are saved on your phone and you can check them at any time. Here’s how to easily turn Do Not Disturb on or off on your iPhone:
- Open your iPhone control center by swiping down from the top right corner
- Beat focus
- Beat Do not bother.

- Beat add people
- Select the contacts you want to add
- Then tap Did in the top right corner of the screen.

- check off Approved people onlywhich people you have permission to send you text messages.

If you only allow selected contacts, namely your nearest and dearest, they can contact you when you have your phone set to Do Not Disturb.
