ALEXANDRA Burke surprised fans after announcing she is pregnant with her second child today.

The 34-year-old Bad Boys singer kept the happy news under wraps with a series of clever social media tricks.

Alexandra shared the news today, just eight months after giving birth to her first baby with footballer boyfriend Darren Randolph.

But any hint of a bump has been skillfully concealed on her Instagram photos for the past few weeks.

The singer has shared a flood of photos from the shoulders up – carefully cropping out her growing baby bump.

While other photos show her in oversized clothing—from a green flowy dress to a baggy off-white sweater.

The former X Factor star has also thought about clever camera settings.

In one photo, the new mom covered her blossoming belly while cradling her eight-month-old baby on the sofa.

Posting a full-length shot, she strategically placed the objects to hide her stomach, like a large bouquet of daffodils.

Alexandra also changed up her glamorous wardrobe to ensure fans were unaware.

She posed in a white tailored suit last month, which concealed her bump.

Sharing a picture of her first pregnancy today, Alexandra told fans: “We are so excited to do it all again.”

The pop star gave birth to her first baby with West Ham goalkeeper Darren in July last year.

Alexandra met Republic of Ireland ace Darren in April 2021 and the couple quickly began a romance.

They announced they were expecting their first child in February last year.

Alexandra has chosen not to reveal the gender of her baby.

She broke down in tears on Loose Women last year and explained why she is naming her child Little Grape on social media instead.

“Well I’ve never really spoken about it, but obviously I’m coming from the X Factor, which is a public show,” she explained.

“I’m very grateful for the platform it’s given me, but – I hate talking about it emotionally – but while becoming who I am, I’ve asked for it – but my family never did [did].”

“The impact on them is harsh.

“They never asked for it and I asked for it, so I want to protect the baby as much as possible. I don’t want to be that person who cries because I’m very happy.”

The star previously said she took a three-month break from her busy career as a singer and actress after becoming a mother, but later decided to return after two months to find herself again.
